Long-term value creation
Central Cacao is an agroforestry project based in Guatemala, focused on producing high-quality cacao within a sustainable and scalable agricultural system.
By integrating cacao cultivation with diverse tree species, we build resilient ecosystems that support both long-term productivity and environmental regeneration.
THE PROJECT
Finca Paso Cocodrilo
Our operations are centered around Finca Paso Cocodrilo, a 50-hectare farm located near Laguna Lachuá National Park.
The plantation is developed using an agroforestry model, combining cacao trees with timber and native species to improve soil health, increase biodiversity, and diversify long-term value.
QUALITY
Cacao for high-value markets.
We focus on producing cacao for high-value markets, combining careful genetic selection, agronomic management, and post-harvest practices.
Ongoing research and collaboration with local producers allow us to continuously improve bean quality, productivity, and consistency.
AGROFORESTRY
Beyond conventional monoculture.
Biodiversity
We integrate cacao with diverse tree species to create more balanced and resilient ecosystems.
Soil fertility
The system supports healthier soils and long-term agricultural productivity.
Climate resilience
Diversified cultivation helps reduce climate-related risks and strengthens farm stability.
Positive impact
This approach allows us to produce high-quality cacao while maintaining environmental responsibility.
IMPACT
Strengthening local economies through responsible production.
We work within the Lachúa region alongside a network of smallholder farmers, supporting technical knowledge, sustainable practices, and access to premium cacao value chains.

OPERATIONS
Structured growth from farm to market.
We are building a structured supply chain from production to storage and commercialization, with increasing volumes and market integration.
Our work combines on-the-ground farm development with commercial strategy, infrastructure investment, and long-term operational planning.
VISION
A long-term model for sustainable premium cacao.
Central Cacao is designed as a long-term project. As the plantation matures and operations scale, we aim to combine environmental sustainability, premium product positioning, and stable economic performance.
